Cheers mate, that's the plan. Get some use out of it, start going to shows etc.

Me too mate, should be built and ready for collection next month. Alpine white, identical to this, aside from it being a 3 door:

Only a small update, but an update!

My door mirror retract looms and mirror plugs were riddled with crimps, and it's always done my head in:

Image

They're obviously hidden by the door cards, but it's just messy.

I decided to fit a pair of quality 7 way deutsch weather pack plugs to my retract mirror and door looms. Now the same on both side and tested. No crimps, much better!

Image

I also had the Bomex spoiler and boot lid polished and buffed. This was the last stage of the paint work to the spoiler and boot lid. They now both have a mirror finish. In addition to the final buff they washed my car without me even asking. Service!!

And that's it for now.

Haha, cheers mate. Not gonna happen on the Beemer though. I don't drive the MR2 enough, let alone sell up and buy a BMW.

Wow - cool looking MR2. Some well chosen mods. My favourite exterior and interior colours going on too. Nice work.

Cheers buddy, comments appreciated! :thumleft:

Well, today was probably the best day of the year so far! Went for a 2 hour drive round the back roads and got some nice sunset pics around 6pm:

So I've fancied a mk3 MR2 steering wheel on the car for a while, so I picked one up off eBay, complete:

Then removed the complete airbag assembly:

Went out to the car and removed the Momo wheel and boss, and fitted the mk3 wheel. Horn connected up and tested. Then gave it a treatment with Autoglym leather care balm. It's come up like new:

Happy with the results. Slightly brightened the pic as it's a bit dark in the garage.

How does the wheel make the car feel whilst driving, looks really nice !
couldn't believe how much of a night and day my OMP 330 corsica
made the car feel fingertip responsive !

Cheers lads :D

Jordan - not driven it yet, literally fitted the wheel, polished it and left it

Looking forward to taking it for a drive with it fitted though, certainly feels nice off the car

The wheel fits perfectly with the rest of the interior :D

When did those seats go in?! I must have lost track at some point during one of your annual complete re-stylings
