So an update on my car...
Last year in January in went off road due to someone going into the side and causing quite some damage :grr: (bent wishbone, bent trackrod arm, bent the alloy)

so i decided to take it off the road fix it and all the rust issues and bring it back on the road...
I was also in the process of the building a rocket bunny kit for it.

so i started taking it apart

skip to present day and due to heavy heavy rainfall, the unit where my car was flooded...
the water went up around 8ft

so far progress on the car was slow. just changed the alloys colour to candy red.

luckily my car was on the ramp, but that only goes 6-7ft in the air and water still got in  :(
not enough to ruin the electrics but enough to ruin the carpets and seats

rear bumper got swept away, facelift garnish got swept away, lights and other bits got flooded with murky water so i need to clean them up

dropped the oil in the engine and in the gearbox and they were clean, i was so relieved at the sight of that

Image20151227_120425 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

parts i found floating about

Image20151229_103014 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

you can see how high the water got in the bay

Image20151227_120632 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

new colour of the rims

Image20151227_120736 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

decided to move the car that night as there was flood warnings again. so didnt want to risk it

in its new home

Image20151229_181438 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

decided to drop a lsd box i had lying around into the car and put a new clutch in at the same time...
yes i am that confident that it will start

Image20160105_192225 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

I got a little bored and decided to make a cold air box

cardboard template

Image20160110_145955 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

the reason it wasnt starting ....

Image20160116_171615 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

Found some e10 si (3 door hatch) side skirts that i need to mod to fit the car

Image20161022_145812 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

Decided to get some over arches as the wheels were ridiculously wide, and it wouldn't pass an MOT (to allow it to be road legal)....

they are 70mm wide

Image20161208_160038 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

Image20161208_160104 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

Back on the floor after so many months

Image20161212_170116-01 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

Image20161212_170211-01 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

So i found that my rear garnish is broken, on the hunt for a new one now  :grr:

Image20161212_170238 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

and finally the arches mocked up on the car

Image20161213_135959 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

Image20161213_140224 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

ImageIMG-20161214-WA0002 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

ImageIMG-20161214-WA0004 by Ishaq bawa, on Flickr

Next on the list of things to do are:

New front windscreen
Fit the rear bumper back onto the car
Weld the rear arch skins together
Rivet the over arches on
Fit sideskirts
Clean out the interior and start putting everything back together
Overhaul the brakes
Full service
Get it ready for an MOT
