sacked the idea of sumping it actually...too paranoid of losing all my oil should it fail...i see in the other thread that dalev has revealed exactly what luke PW told me....t piece the stock location for pressure...cool, still dunno about the temp tho, I got some super heat resistant instant gasket today but it didn't work...maybe I didn't leave it long enuff before driving so I gonna try it again tonight and leave it overnight to set...of course the oil leak could be from somewhere else, fk knows where though.

I'm gonna be welding a nut onto a spare sump I've got - or at least having a go at it so you might be able to purchase this in the near future :thumleft:

can you stick high enough up the sump wall ( rev2 ) to ensure that there is a reasonable amount of oil left in the sump just incase of sensor/nut coming off? also...lol...is there any kind of ...ahem..bodge/quick/temp fix for a weepy crankshaft seal?

Yeah I'll have a play around with fluid levels and see where it can go. I'm not sure where the oil level sits when the engine is running.

As for the crankshaft seal, I don't think there is cos you need to get the box/flywheel off to get to it.

Hi,

The sump plug is M12x 1.5 IIRC.
