hey guys, kinda new to the forum, this forum is as active as e36coupe.com, which i really got addicted to when i got me 3 series coupe. anyway, now i got a mr2 t-bar, and someone has butchered the iso connector so i dont know which color is which as mr2 do not use the normal red, yellow, black etc...
can anyone give me a wiring diagram to show me how to 'hard wire' my head unit in?
thanks

Re: HEAD UNIT WIRING
I just hapeb to have the toyota end of a MK1 stereo loom by my side with an Halfords ISO lead as well, so assuming they didn't change the wiring from MK1 to MK2 here goes;
Toyota:----------------------------------------Halfords ISO:
Blue with Yellow Trace & Silver Dots-------Yellow (12v memory)
Green with Silver Dots-----------------------Orange (Illumination)
Grey with Silver Dots------------------------Red (+12V ignition)
Black with silver Dots------------------------Blue (Remote Antenna)
Brown with Silver Dots-----------------------Black (Earth)
Purple with Silver Dots-----------------------White with Black Trace (FL neg)
Pink with Silver Dots-------------------------White (FL pos)
Blue with Silver Dots-------------------------Grey with Black Trace (FR neg)
Green with Silver Dots-----------------------Grey (FR neg)
I haven't got the toyota loom for the rear speakers, but that gives you a start.
