[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 Turbo - Gizzmo IBC-V3

Post by v1xz »

Was hoping someone here would be able to help me set this boost controller, Any help would be nice! Or if anyone has had experience with this.

Have read up to only alter Close Duty Cycle + Gain as a beginner... Correct?

My car:
Rev 2 Turbo
XB Downpipe - Blue flame exhaust
255LPH Fuel pump
HKS SSQV atmosphere (will recirc this when i find some silicone pipe)
Standard Air box
i like MR2

As you have a rev 2 I'd play it safe and set gain low about 5 and start around 50% on the duty cycle. The ibc will display what boost you hit. If you hit fuel cut adjust down and if you done get high enough increase the duty cycle or gain slightly.

Start at all values 0 to get waste gate settings, then up the first one until you hit your target boost, then adjust second so it hits peak and keeps it without creep :thumleft:

Start low and gradually increase and you can't go wrong.

Throw that boost controller in the bin and buy a Blitz/HKS/Apexi unit.

Those gizzmos are more trouble than they are worth.
