Not sure where to post this so apologies if it's ar$e about tit.

I'm taking my my MR2 off the road to keep it mint and to get the engine swap.

Does anyone know of a cheap car cover I can buy that will fit my rev2?

I got one from argos years ago, fitted pretty well and was less than £30, personally I wouldn't use a cover, heard some worry stories over the years 8-[

What horror stories bud?

I used to put a cover over my evo every night if it wasn't in the garage.

Mind you. I was in Liverpool!

Get the small size.

Put it on the car. slam the doors shut with the edges of the cover inside the doors and the wind won't blow it off.

They're water/dust *resistant* for about 3 months, after which they become permeable - saharan dust will go through it and end up on the body of the car.

They get easily damaged if they end up on the floor in a puddle, the coating on it washes off.

A new one does a pretty good job for 12 months.

Apparently they can rub the paint if they flap around and the inner element is too coarse.

How long have you been using the Halfords version?

Read some horror stories of condensation collecting between the cover and paint causing signifiacant damage, google it and see what comes up.
From memories sake I personally wouldn't use one unless garaged until I researched it properly.
