Haha yes! It has been "entered" in the TSS since I bought it initially Iin 20v form, where it was strangely reliable.

Unfortunately for the last 3 years it has not been, fingers crossed this is its year!

Won'tbe able to make the Friday unfortunately

What a fantastic return to sprinting for my mk1!

After a lot of engine, cooling and gearbox work over the last 2 years, it performed faultlessly at a waterlogged Snetterton!

My first 2 laps resulted in spins, trying to balance the throttle was tricky with the huge throttle body, but managed to get one clean lap in, placing 4th overall.

Had some great fun holding the slides later in the day too! Can't wait for Blyton. videos to come later!

this was my last lap, the circuit was soaked, so not the quickest, but certainly fun :

Ahhh Neil you're car looks epic and I've just made a mess in my pants!

Would those skirts look right if I didn't have the arches?

Thank you :thumleft:

I find it tends to divide opinion :oldtongue:

The brear bumper and skirts are rip offs of the EBN kit, which Toni has on hers without arch flares...

(I actually bought the spoiler off Toni, so that is genuine)

The front bumper i got with the kit was very different to the EBN one, and i modified it quite a bit as well, so the way i have it may look odd without the arches though :-k

the car is currently not well again with more engine problems :-(

I intend to get it fixed one last time, and then have very sadly, after 8 years building this car, decided it will be for sale :-(

I will do a "for sale advert" after the car is fixed, but if anybody wants to discuss anything during this, do let me know.

Any idea what the rear mesh is called? As I think I have this piece in my garage.

Shame its not worked out for you mate. As you have invested lots of time and effort on this car. Are you having cooling issues?

The rear mesh was just some folded bumper mesh with the metal panel behind cut out!

Car is currently in storage. Engine is rebuilt and mapped, but just needs a couple of days tweaking a few bits on the coolant pipe routing. Unfortunately I have neither time, enthusiasm or cash at the moment!

I think I have an official part of a bodykit for that actual section. Rumoured to be part of the erebuni kit...
