Advan AVS 17" Alloy Wheels

Post by Kiddo »

Up for sale is a set of 17" Advan AVS alloy wheels that came off my old R33. They're in pretty good condition as they are, with only a small amount of corrosion so wouldn't take much of a refurb to be immaculate.

Tyre wise, Goodyear Eagle F1's all round but they are worn...one rear has a nail through it and not much tread but the other rear is usable (picture below), while the fronts are getting low. Sizes as follows:

Front - 5x114.3 17x8J ET45 with 235/45ZR17 94Y tyres
Rear - 5x114.3 17x9J ET38 with 255/40ZR17 94Y tyres

I'm after £190 delivered (mainland UK) or £150 collected. Cash on collection or PayPal only.

Any questions welcome, I'm on 07793026309 (Neil) but I am a shift worker so leave a message if I don't answer :)

Nice wheels! I had a set of 16s ages ago.

Just a few points to note regarding fitment of these to a MK2.

The front offset is too high. They will require 10mm hubcentric spacers and extended studs for a perfect fit. Otherwise they'll interfere with the front strut.

The front tyres are also too wide for a MK2. They should be 215/40/17. Rear tyres will also require the arches rolled, they should be 245/40/17, but as you state they probably need changing, it's irrelevant.

My comment was going to be that I didn't think 235/45/17 at the front would fit with a standard strut, even after spacers. I believe the tyre will rub on the spring's lower mount. If the buyer decides to throw away the tyres then that's clearly not an issue though. :thumleft:

One could argue rears "should" be 245/35/17 as that's a near perfect match for the stock rolling radius.

Any which way, GLWTS. Nice looking wheels :D

Thanks for the info fellas. Someone did explain what was needed to get them to fit in an old wheels wanted thread that I posted in but I couldn't find it anywhere to copy and paste. I've literally just copied the for sale post from the skyline forum (hence the tyres on the rims) so again, thanks for clearing things up :thumleft:
