Do keep an eye on this thread people, I know a few of us have had a few spots of rain so we will be keeping a keen eye on the weather for tonight.

Rain and a bunch of MR2's. What could possibly go wrong? O:)

Hope it does go ahead, I've been looking forward to this for weeks!

We are dropping like flies! I can't make it now either, I've got some horrendous man flu and I don't think 7hrs of driving trying to see through the snot is a good idea

Argh, me too :( *sniff*

And the self-levelling headlights on the Scoob have bust, leaving the headlights pointing straight at the floor. :S

Sorry Malc. Hope you have a good run, I took the westy down that way a few weeks ago and roads are truly excellent!

Its currently on.

But I will be monitoring very closely. MR2s and rain is not the best combination. Whilst we will be within the speed limit, it is inevitable that on a run you push the envelope a little and in the wet or if the road is greasy then we do not want any trouble.

I have just spoken to malcolm, weather is looking iffy at the moment but he will update once he has had a chance to look properly.

Final yes/no decision at 19:00
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

I've just got home and seen the weather isn't much better at this end :(

Unfortunately I'm going to have to drop out of this, for me its not worth the risk even if the rain stops, the roads will obviously still be damp. My neighbour with his GTR will also be dropping out as a result.

Apologies for letting you down, however I hope there will be another such event organised in the coming months with better weather. In which case bring it on

If it does go ahead then stay safe everyone, and have fun.

Reluctantly I am calling this off.

I have driven home in rain, the forecast is not good along the route with at least 50% chance of rain.

Given the risk to people and cars I am not happy about this meet proceeding officially, I would rather postpone until next month and try again.

I am erring on the side of caution here, but would also rather cancel now before people commit to the journey.

Could someone update on the OC as I have lost my login.

Again, apologies.

Understandable weather is still looking damp down this way.

Hopefully get a chance to get to another meet soon
