Complete drop in 20v Silvertop conversion.

Post by PW@Woodsport »

I have a complete 20v 4a-ge Silvertop engine and gearbox package that will literally plug and play into any Mk1.

Included is a very healthy 20v 4a-ge, complete with harness, ECU and all ancilliaries, includes gearbox, clutch and exhaust downpipe.

To install this you will need to simply adapt your current exhaust rear silencer onto the 20v downpipe, really easy to do.

It will require a slight replumbing of your engine bay radiator hoses but that is it, mechanically it will hang as a straight engine change, electrically it will simply plug in and run, other than the above which is nothing more than a few hours work i see this as a weekend 20v install.

I have video of the engine running which i will host if there is genuine interest shown, or pics on request of the engine/gearbox bundle if you want them.

Looking for £1750 for the entire 20v bundle which includes nationwide delivery and complete support from me during the install/fitting.... but it really is as close to drop in and go as you're likely to get.

Thanks Paul.

Bargain for the money, its a pity you do not accept my first born or a kidney in exchange.

Yes i thought so too, seems the 20v isn't that popular these days, i would have thought this would get snapped up straight away.

Actually this is a crazy cheap deal, i know for a fact this should be well over £2k for a plug and play 20v Silvertop bundle, so i've decided to keep it and use this engine in my Locost build.
