4agze engine and turbo kit

Post by MR2Kyle »

Hi folks, sadly I'm having to sell the engine and kit I purchased from Paul woods at the start of the year as I don't have the money to properly support the project anymore. Paul had planned to build the equivelant of a 4agzte and has a build thread on here for it. I ended up buying the engine and everything needed to do the conversion. All the turbo kit is brand new and sized correctly for the engine. All that is needed is a supercharger injector rail and a manifold to be fabricated. Manifold comes with the engine and kit. Any interest send me a pm. :thumleft:
Thanks folks

Has the 4agze engine been rebuilt by Paul?

Also, what electronics and ecu do you have? Is it afm or map?

What turbo is it? And is the turbo new or rebuilt?

I might be interested.

Sorry for the late reply 😓 no the engine was never rebuild by Paul I don't think...ecu has been modified for the turbo...turbo is brand new and the whole turbo kit is span new! Bought and correctly sized up for the engine by Paul. As for is it map or amf I don't know...

The ECU is for the supercharger, but it is mapped for boost, and will run off the GZE map sensor, which i also have, so the mapping will be correct for whatever hardware supplies the boost.... in short it will fuel correctly for the turbo.

Sorry for more questions, as i'm just trying to establish what bits were put together for this 4agte.

For example, my 4agte is currently a later spec with oil squirters 4agze block from a corolla, but its runs on earlier AFM electronics from an MR2 supercharger.

Is the block later spec smallport 4agze and does it come with a smallport NA inlet manifold, or does it still use the supercharger inlet mani?

What, if any, intercooler does it come with?

If it uses the later electronics, has the loom already been adapted for an MR2?

What is this injector rail that it needs?

Also, is the turbo a genuine garrett t25, or a chinese copy?

Finally, is the piping all ready to fit, or is it a set of pipes that need to be cut and adjusted?

Phew :thumleft:

As for the engine I don't know a great deal about it... I can send you the conversation I had with Paul if anyone wants to know but that's all...unless someone can tell me an easy way of telling what type of 4agze it is. Thanks
Might even sell the turbo kit seep rarely if offered the right money for it.
Thanks
