I took my new rev2 turbo to Cadwell on Friday for it's first track day - had a great day and was starting to get a lot more comfortable towards the end of the day.

Watching your vids I can see you are a good 5 - 10 seconds a lap quicker than I was (when my Mrs accidentally timed me from the cafe when she didn't realise it wasn't allowed). A lot of that will be down to me but I was wondering what, if any, changes you've made to suspension etc to improve cornering.

Hi ya

I've not timed these, normally I just time the video to see how I got on lol, I'm running k sport coilovers ( not sure on Spring rating, need to get them tested), I was running yoko ad48's, I'm running twin roll bars up front and strapped front suspension with just 10mm of sag, the set up works really well and even better in the wet the car has got so much grip in the wet and so controllable, I run Yokohama ao08's in the wet, I did Cadwell in torenchal rain last year and the car just lapped it up even the aqua plaining :D I'm lucky as I know a guy who is very clued up on suspension set up so I just bug him for advice :thumleft:

Oh and I was running no rear anti roll bar that day as I snapped a rear rol bar mount on my 2nd session, so took it off up gave the rear shocks a couple more clicks :thumleft:

Yeah was a tad close, didn't really brick it as it happened so quick lol na was totally my fault, I got on the dirty side and forgot Chris curve tightened up that much on the exit  I should of waited and got him on the way out,I just thought oh well I'm on the grass, so just come off all the pedals and just thought gently nurse it back on to the black stuff but then saw the exit road and had the bright idea of if I flick the brakes as I go over it I'll scrub some speed off on that little bit of Tarmac????????? But it launched itself going over the exit road then the back come round,so then I was just watching the wall in the mirror and trying to remember which way it curved and which way to turn the wheel lol
