[Mk2] [Turbo] kph to mph

Post by mr2nut123 »

On my previous tubby I simply had a sticker that went over to convert kph to mph, easy. On this car I'd like to add the chip to convert it to mph whilst still keeping the rev5 cluster looking original. Where do you guys get them from these days? Just 3 wires to solder right..?

Ideally, you want a Stef Derner clamping delimiter. Best solution.

Try a wanted post.

Or, source a UK rev 5 160mph speedo. :thumleft:

You didn't hang about there on the reply Craig! Cheers.

Does the UK rev5 still have the red notches on the detailing? What about the boost gauge? I know it's pointless but it's more fun than a battery meter, it's fun watching it bounce up lol

No prob. Rev 5 UK clocks are aesthetically identical to the JDM rev 5 turbo clocks apart from the boost gauge, and the 180kmh dial.

All you need to do is remove the speedo unit only from your binnacle and fit the speedo head from the UK clocks. You need touch none of your other dials JUST swap the speedo unit. :thumleft:

Ah ok! Cool, I'll keep a lookout for rev5 UK cluster then. Cheers :thumleft:
