Why? It's sold, Surely it's just a courtesy to the buyer, some people would prefer that the details of their car and the price they paid weren't public knowledge.

Not so much the price, just that 99.99% of all the other car for sale/sold ads do not delete the whole listing.
Is helpful is someone was looking to buy the car, if the whole thing get deleted you can carry on trying to find the ad, at least it's there with

Ads are removed out of courtesy for new owners as sometimes I sell to trade buyers who re-sell the car so looks bad if 2 seperate people have details of the same car online....??
Also rather than read a massive advert and look at pics then you have various replies only to see its sold at the very bottom is more annoying IMO..!
