Re: Tickets
Just a question then, so they slapped a £2.50 charge on the tickets yet we've to print them off ourselves?
I know the club got round the charge per ticket transaction etc, it just seems to me to be a bloody scam, what are individuals paying for?
I haven't even got a printer at home, so I'm having to go into work to print it off although I'm on holiday and have been since last week.
I'm gonna go see fuggles when I get there.

Re: Tickets
Its not JAE Chris...its the 3rd party ticket organisers that was employed.
There was a £2.50 per transaction fee, which meant it would have cost collectively £102.50 in 'fee's' for the 41 separate transactions that would have been made.
The club processed them all in one which meant only one charge of £2.50 for the whole lot.
This obviously then does mean that people would need to print off tickets, as they all have a unique bar code that is scanned at the gate.

Re: Tickets
Paper is obsolete. Pretty much every ticket I order these days for events or gigs, comes via email.
I'll have my laptop with me, so will just show them the email.

Re: Tickets
Paper is obsolete, exactly why I don't have a printer, problem is no one else in the world seems to agree, pulling up to the gate and then showing a laptop isnt
As practical as handing over the ticket.

Re: Tickets
You could, show it on your smartphone etc, or go and print a ticket off.
Scott didn't have time to post the tickets, it was one of those situations where we had a bit of a panic and well, it's all we could do, sorry.
You could buy a printer they aren't expensive and we've got one now as it's handy for printing off tickets!

Re: Tickets
Relatively new to the forum and MR2's for that matter, what's the plans for this years event or is it a little too early at the moment?

Re: Tickets
Usual plans as per previous years, ticketing will, I'm sure work the same as it did last year. JAE starts on 8th September Thu-Sunday.
But it's a little too early for further details in regard to the club stand as of yet, so watch this space.
