[Mk2] [Turbo] JDM Side Repeater removal

Post by TheCombover »

How do I remove the side repeaters??
Do I use a screwdriver to pry it off?
Or are there hidden screws or nuts behind the wheel liner?

is it not attached to the trim from inside....so have to remove the trim first (think there's a screw under front indicator reflector, and one under wheel arch.

...pure guesswork by the way, sure someone will be along who knows soon

That is what I assumed!

Hope there is a different way to do it. I don't fancy taking the wheel off so I can take the wheel arch liner off just to switch out my side repeaters :?

Hi thecombover if you are just replacing t he bulb then removing some of the arch liner screws and bending it back slightly gave me enough room.
If you are replacing whole unit read the guide below I found it helpful but wished I had soaked the nuts in wd40 as they sheared off.
