Actually, that's a good point, i'd like 45mm pods :) i forget these are custom!

jim im looking in to making them in 60 and 52 and 45 i guess i didnt realise you could get 45mm gauges

i have a friend who makes fibreglass molds for a living and he is going to try molding the full unit

if this isnt possible and it just breaks getting it out of the mold

were going to look in to making just the pod part at the top as a bond on item :)

Count me in either way bud, pillar pods are the tackiest thing since blu-tac!! This is a much nicer option!!

Yeah, i think the guages would be right in the way :( i mean i now the pillar pods are neeeded but they are hugely chavvy :(

i think this is a much better idea.

as i cant imagine the mold for the whole piece is going to fit like oem. plus more hassle, is bigger to post etc. and more expensive to make too id guess.

only problem with just th epod, is dealing with the texture difference on the oem unit and the smooth texture of the pods. but tbh, thats not your problem really.
