Sent a PM over to the organiser on OC. I`m thinking the best way to ensure the clubs stick together is arrange it all in one go, all one stand, all names and tickets bought together and sent out.

Last year club members had discounted tickets, were able to take passengers in for free, and could take advantage of early entry to beat traffic queues. Plus the fun of joining convoys on the way down. Well worth coming with the club!

All pricing and info will be confirmed on this thread as soon as Japfest announce it. In the meantime please feel free to provisionally add your names to the list below -

Just a thought... I know people weren't happy with the plot we got last year but if all the Toyota/MR2 clubs had been there with us I think it would have been a lot better...

Access in and out was good, it's right by Quarry, which is easily the best spot for watching the drifting, and there was lots of room, rather than all being lined up on the main walkway where the OC was with masses of people wandering past all the time.

It would have been miles better. I can assure you we did everything we possibly could have last year to ensure the clubs were sited together, the other club requested it also, yet the Japfest organisers managed to c0ck up the request and left us apart even after verbal and written discussion with them and promises that it would be made to happen.

This is why I am trying to get things organised earlier and keep in contact with the other clubs and Japfest organisers in preparation for the 2015 event. If needs be we can arrange either myself or the OC organiser (which was MR2Jay last year) to take care of all the tickets for the clubs and go in as one group so they have no choice but to site us in the same place. It will look brilliant with 40+ MR2s together, we have to make it happen this time! :thumleft:

Spoken to Jay over on the OC, he is going to start a thread for attendees for their members, and will also be in touch with the organisers as will I. So fingers crossed THIS year we will have both clubs and all our 2`s sat together! Should look quite a sight. :thumleft:

More names welcome on the list guys lets make this another big turnout, IMOC had over 20 attendees last year. :thumleft:

Just to make clear, if you come with the club it is £25 per car to enter with passenger/s. (Probably `passenger` if you are in your MR2! Though if we have the other odd Jap car but you are an IMOC member you are of course perfectly welcome to attend!). If you go as a normal visitor to the show on the day you will pay £25 per PERSON! So well worth going through the club!
