I'm guessing it's not Pilkington as they normally want a minimum order of 100+ units.

There is one guy in Ireland that wants one of these screens, but that still isn't enough people for the group buy.

I stand corrected, you are right.

Providing the members that are on the list are prepared to pay £320.

Who is making the screens? How is the group buy going to work are we paying a deposit up front then the rest when we see a final production piece? Can you get a more accurate time frame than just 3-4 months for example if we get the order in for the end of December can we get a definite date in march or April?

First off:

I had a group buy before for a different product and was asked similar questions.

I asked the manufacturer the questions that had been asked of me and I forwarded the answers.

It turned out the manufacturer was ridiculously late with the product and I had to take the flak for it.

I am in the same boat as the rest of you, in that I have to have faith in the company and that they will deliver on the time they give me.

This is a completely different company and product I am dealing with here, but I can only relay what they tell me when it comes to production times.

Secondly:

I would rather not take deposits until we (the group) are 100% committed to buying the screens.

I have never dealt with this manufacturer so they MAY ask for the full amount up front.

I am not a business i.e shop or company.
