yes get them.

they are designed as a bush for reason as standard.
there needs to be some play (twist). so poly ones are a good upgrade.

yes ive tried both, ive actually tried 4 different kinds.

straight bearing
crw spherical bearings
phoenix power solid plastic
poly bushed

poly feels like it has a bit more give/cushioning compared to others whilst still being a more solid feel than oem

I got the linkage polybush kit from 2'sRus and I've gotta say it's night and day. My old bushes suprisingly weren't that bad but it's made it feel more solid whilst still having enough give to be comfortable :thumleft:

Yep from peter just broke a bearing up trying to get it in and seen all hype about polybush ones.

Have the others that have peters tried the polybush too ?

I have to agree with Jim it's just that little bit of flexibility yet still having a solid change, probably wouldn't be so noticeable if I didn't have poly engine mounts
I used the bearings and solid brass ones on my old 2's but my new 2 came with poly bushes and I prefer them so kept them when I changed gear cables and have the other sets in the garage #-o

How did you manage to break a bearing getting it in?? where you using a sledge hammer??

It should just slide in.. If you're struggling that much then i'd say the o hoop is possibly deformed.

Not cleaned up the surfaces enough. When properly prepared, bearings slide in with fingers.

Yes this is exactly my thought.. You even provided a bit of sandpaper. I gave it a nice rub down then used a tiny little splash of oil rubbed around the bearing and the ring.. and it went in with no issue at all gave it a little clean up add the washers simples.. :thumleft:
