Apologies - Vintage Trike. That would have fit right in at CPOP too!

I know, I know. I keep meaning to make a video but just haven't gotten around to it

Small Update.

I purchased a full set of bump strips a while back, with the intention to wrap them in carbon.
Finally managed to get round to over the last couple of weekends.
Bought some carbon fibre wrap from ebay and started wrapping away - A lot more time consuming than I thought!

I didn't take any pics during, but here is the end result. Very pleased with it myself \:D/

It's not very clear in the pics but the 'twin cam 16 turbo' stickers have been redone in red.
I'll get some better close ups by the weekend hopefully :)

Not overly keen on the black strips. Makes the car look really dated imo.

Looked much better with colour coded strips.

Just my 2p like, if you like it then all good.

I like it either way. Silver strips look better on a white car than black ones though, jus sayin'.

If someone said to me why dont you carbon wrap your bump strips? I would have thought...no way, but strangely I like it :-?

Ive been thinking to do some of my interior dash in the stuff actually.

I bought a shed load of the stuff so I imagine my interior will be done the next time I get bored

I like it :thumleft:

I almost purchased a set of black rubs trips to do this to mine - ties the black wheels to the car, helps the monochrome theme "flow" even.

I know the early MR2's looked like this i.e. not colour coded, but I think it was revived on the latest Rev 5's too (certainly on the Sonic Shadow cars, maybe on the Super Red ones too).

It does look retro .. not a bad thing IMO

I like the look ; ties the tinted front indicators in as well as the rear light surrounds .

Breaks the car up, making it look longer and sleeker .

Never hurt this design , for example

Finally managed to get on the dyno yesterday to see what shes making.

Unfortunately we only managed one power run, and he backed off early as it was running too lean. He said he could hear it starting to det through the knock sensor.
Made good power up to there though which I'm pretty happy about.

So next plans are to upgrade my fuelling and ecu.
Walbro 255 fuel pump, larger injectors (sard, blitz, etc), Link g4 ecu (atom or storm) and very possibly water/meth injection.
Anything I've missed?

Here is the video. Not very good but it's my first ever rolling road so im gonna post it anyway :D

Heres the printouts. They are all flywheel figures.

Forged block, bigger intercooler, Garrett GT28RS, 16-17psi boost, amongst others. It's all logged in this thread. Not really useable power though as it's running too lean on standard fuelling and causing detonation so it's all about to get upgraded.

Hmm, we are practically in the same spot at the minute - I wonder which one of us will get it done first :D

Gonna have mine sorted by Rogue though :)

I'm hoping you, so I can copy your water/meth setup, haha. I quite like the sound of the 4 port option at the moment.

I'll get a proper update of where I'm at after the weekend hopefully :thumleft:

Watching both your builds with interest, hoping to basically copy you both, however, the car's been off the road for 4-5 months so i'm gonna enjoy it as it is for a good while yet.
