Haltech E6K ECU and Sensors - SOLD

Post by Peter Gidden »

Recently removed from a 460bhp ST185 GT4 is a Haltech E6K ECU complete with loom plug and tails.

The E6K might be old, but it was a leader in its time with sequential injector driving, closed loop fuel control and boost control to 30psi of boost.

Full spec. and manual here:

http://www.haltech.com/wp-content/uploa ... Manual.pdf

Wiring diagram here:

http://www.haltech.com/wp-content/uploa ... omRevF.pdf

Software for programming here:

http://www.haltech.com/wp-content/uploa ... 6Kv634.zip

The software only works in DOS, so an old laptop with a serial port will be required.

Lots of install info here:

£75 delivered.

Found a couple of brand new sensors (worth £20+ each), and some other related bits and pieces.

Added to auction.

Went for a bit more than £75 quid in the end then!

Out of interest, would you be able to program this from a newer machine with a USB -> RS232 adapter and DOSBox? It would be an easier solution for most people!
