hi all!!!!

after a weekends playing around with engine setup ive developed a prob!!!

the charge circuit is no longer working as ive a battery light on!!! can anyone shed any light on this??? common???

or a replacment cheap alternator?????

take your old one to your local breakers they will probably have one as the same alternator was used on loads of toyotas (corolla etc.) about £20.00 -£30.00

i can get a re-con one for £60 is that good or do we know some one on here?????

also whats this 'fusible link' all bout????

when I got mine I am sure that I was quoted wel over £100.00 for a recon that was through family contacts who work in the business and a new one is £350.00 + VAT from Mr"T" £60.00 is not bad for a recon with a gaurentee !!! I paid £20.00 for s/h from a breakers and has been on now over twelve months :wink:

check all your conections first,you dont want to shell out if its not needed. paul woods is your man ,he will give you clever ways of testing it.
