[Mk2] [Generic] Bluetooth Connectivity - New Power Supply

Post by going4the1 »

Hi

I'm planning to install a bluetooth receiver. Similar to this:

I want to use it a a permanent intall without having to remove and recharge it. I therefore need to wire in a second 12v power supply and make use of a USB adapter to provide a permanent feed to the bluetooth receiver.

I know that I can split the feed to the cigarette lighter cabling to link ino the new 12v supply. Is this the best option?

Is there an alternative to this? Spare feeds from the footwell block?? I will be fitting an in-line fuse to the new power supply.
