[Mk2] [NA] Where is the stock fob receiver located?
Anyone know where the stock keyfob receiver is in the car? Its a 96. Range seems very limited so I figure if I know where the sensor is then I can hold the fob as close to it as possible.

I have the same car. 10th Anniversary. And I have the same issue. I replaced the battery in the fob, but it makes no difference. I'm so close to the car to make the fob work, I'd be as well unlocking with the key 
Anyone have any ideas how to extend the range or is this normal for an MR2?

My range is crap too, to answer your question though, it's behind the radio inside the dash.
