3SGTE into a mk3

hi all i am thinking about having the turbo engine out off my current rev2 turbo into a mk3, been told this can be done, just wondering if anyone has actually done it ?

I'm going to attempt this over winter as my 3SGTE mk1 is a little rusty now. Got the mk3 and have ordered the mounts from a guy in the States which means it should pretty much bolt straight on with only the rear crossmember needing cutting and welding. Would have been a lot cheaper to weld new chassis mounts on really but like the fact this way will be reversible if needed.

I can't see a scenario where you'd want to reverse it?
