German AW11 in London wants to meet some english friends ...

Post by Racing Socke »

Hi,

as the weather is getting better \:D/ I thought it would be cool to meet some other MR2s in/near London.

Any MR2-drivers in/around London interested in a spontaneous meeting? (Yet I've only "talked" to Keith (Slarty))

My Baby and I return to germany on 26th May.

Would be great to get to know some of you :thumleft:

Regards,
Rebecca

I'm pretty booked up before end of the month, but if I'm free I'll come along.

May Brands Hatch for a meeting point?
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Brands Hatch for a meeting point is a great idea. There is a very nice pub not far from there in Eynsford with a large car park, great food and a lovely location.
Easy access from the M25, M20, A2 or A20.

Week nights or weekends is good for me.

Just googled Brands Hatch
Sounds great! And only 22 mls away.

Is it possible to drive a round on the track?

When do you have time? Weekend or week nights?

You can do a track day at Brands Hatch but you cant turn up and drive. Club MSV or Bookatrack can book you a trackday.

http://bookatrack.com/

Lets do a weeknight. I am home from work around 1830hrs, and can be there for 1900hrs.
We could meet in the car park on the main entrance of tBrands Hatch, and then take a 10 minute drive to 'The Plough' in Eynsford.

You say you are back to Germany on the 26th?
How about Monday 24th May, 1900hrs meet?

We are in Plymouth at 25th :(

What about 26th (or else at this weekend?)?

@ oddshoes:
I think I've seen you and your MR2 sometimes in the last months!? :-k
I work at Space Business Park (Abbey Road). And I've also seen a black Mk1 with lots of stickers
