Japanese coachbuilder, makes interesting but ultimately fugly versions of cars.

Yeh..Zagato do have a habit of ruining cars looks...!

I thought they were Italian, though...? :?

They made a hundred of the Zagato VM180s, as part of a limited edition run that included the TRD VM180 and the Modellista Caserta:

Zagato are indeed an Italian company - Modellista are Japanese IIRC.

ETA: The first car you linked to is incorrectly identified as a Zagato - it's a Caserta.

Yes, it's a TOM'S body. Looks like it's got the poverty spec steel wheels fitted though!! #-o

ETA, this bit -トムスW123 - translates as "TOM W123", which gives us the correct model number:
