Additional stuff we have planned for JAE 2009!

Post by Scott Barton »

Well folks. JAE is getting close so thought i would let you all in with what we have planned.

As most of you know we have hired a bloody big marquee complete with chairs and tables, and a generator for power.
We have purchased marquee lighting rigs, and spotlights for the evening.

ROC are hopefully bringing a projector complete with TV receiver so that the Italian GP qualifying can be shown on the Saturday and the full GP race live on the Sunday.
We will have a Wii set up with games such as Mario Kart, Wii Sports etc.
So if you have any great multi-player Wii games bring em along for a laugh!

On the Saturday evening we have a big Hog Roast tuning up to feed approximately 120 people. The pork will be served with white and wholemeal rolls, and sausagemeat, sage and onion stuffing, mustard and apple sauce.
In the evening, music will be playing in the marquee via iPod dock and a sound system. We *may* even have a mixing deck.

So all in all, we have some great stuff planned on top of what is already on offer by the JAE organisers.

Tickets will be sent out approx 10 days before the event.

If anyone would like to make any other suggestions please feel free to let me know.

I hadn't even realised it was an F1 weekend either! Are we going to have crowd segregation??? I can see me and Lauren scrapping if there's any Hamilton/Kimi action

Seriously looking forward to goinng now, makes me feel better that my mate's off to Leeds fest tomorrow and I'm not.
