Anyone know of any amazing MKII's for sale?

Post by Mikejc »

Hi all,

Some of you might remember me from way back in the day... around 10 years ago to be exact. I used to own a pretty well modded MKII so I'm no stranger to these cars. Feel free to look at my old profile.

Anyway the point of my popping on here is to ask if anyone can point me in the direction of any truly exceptional examples of a MKII based car for sale at the moment. Something very clean, fully built, widebodied etc but I'm flexible for he right Car but nothing that looks like it's be chav'd!

Look forward to hearing from you

Welcome back to the club and hope you find the right car.

I have bought and sold in a few rev3/4 MR2 Turbos in the last couple of months.

There is what appears a nice white rev4 with forged engine for sale on ebay at the moment that would tickle my fancy if I was still in the market.

Likewise a clean looking white rev3 on facebook - no price listed but from the photos looks a clean example.

Hello Mike,

These cars have a habit of getting under your skin and staying there. An itch you'll always have to scratch! Probably why my partner and I have 6 between us! We've got this one up for sale that may be of interest...

I did wonder if anyone would remember me :thumleft:

Thanks for the suggestions guys... I've got my eye on a 750hp Supra at the moment but should a fully built wide body MR2 come up I would certainly be interested \:D/ [/img]

I knew someone who owned the Trial Racing demo car Supra. I think that was making about 700bhp. I got a ride in it and amazing bit of kit if you like going side ways down the road!

haha hey mate how's you? Do you still have yours? I can't make up my mind what to do at the moment and find myself toying with a few options. I've decided to keep the Exige as it's great fun and it keeps creeping up in value. My split decision is whether to take on another fun and totally over the top car or to try something completely different and add a motorbike into the mix in the form of the Bonniville Bobber... watch this space! :-k \:D/

Mk2 turbo

Post by ashyk36 »

Hi all,
First and foremost sorry to hijack this thread.

I've recently been toying with doing my motorcycle licence however there is one thing that is stopping me... An mr2 turbo.

5 years ago after many years of wanting one I finally got an mr2, however made a huge mistake and bought an NA.

Anyways it's been in my mind ever since and I have recently come across a rev 4 turbo in Silver .

Does this car have any history and can to advice of the price please?

Thank you in advance

If it's the rev4 sonic shadow on eBay, that was listed by dcy Europe about a year ago as a fresh import. Looks like the owner bought it from them and has put it back up for sale less than a year later.

If you're current 2 is in good condition have you considered a v6 swap?

One of my 2 MR2 Turbos is from DCY Europe and is a fresh import around a similar time to the silver car. A key benefit if it has not been used in the winter months is how clean it will be underneath.
