Trim tape for door rub strips

Post by abovetherim »

I need to re tape my door strips.

Do I need tape close to the full width of the strip and what thickness do I need?

The car is a rev 1 import so this may have an impact on the width as UK and import strips differ apparently!

Thanks
Jan

Could it be a 3m product.

Yes I'm planning on using 3M but can't decide whether to go for the full width of the strip or just the central two thirds down the length of you see what I mean.

Decisions decisions a sealed edge as much as possible might be better than water sitting behind the strip.

100% full length. I only did mine in parts and it's coming away where there's no tape.
