In regards to the air con compressor - does it just un-bolt or does it have anything to do with the alternator bracket?

It's on the other side of the engine to the alternator, so I'm sure they are totally separate.

Yeah, I did wonder that! Would make sense with the SC I guess!

I've got a 4AGZE in the shed, but it's the other end of my short garden. I think you'll just have to have a look. They may well be as I know on my AE the power steering and AC are on the same bracket.

Got it off.

Air con compressor and bracket weigh in at 6.4kg - nice to shed some weight as easily as removing that.

Mine doesn't have the oil cooler hose inlet on the sump.

JDM's, including the S/C, don't have the oil heat exchanger setup. You could retrofit I guess, but if you want to save weight I wouldn't bother.

Hi Jon,

I already have the oil cooler bolted on to my N/A so it'd just be a matter of getting some flexi hose and robbing the old parts off my current engine.

However I suffer from low pressure on my N/A so I'm not sure I want to re-use my existing cooler.
