Simply because I backed out once in 4th - the car was too unstable, infact scary!

I did a 132 terminal earlier in the day after missing 3rd (1/8 mile speed was 97 instead of the previous 112) which would indicate something like a 138 terminal on a good run - then the nitrous will bring it up to the early 140's.

Here is a vid of a slow mo, its great and you can see how bad the car steps on gear changes, just suspension setup really - we'll get there!

Was it just squirming around at the top end aswell then Nath?

Tyres inflating too much?

What pressures were you running?
TOTB 2010 Rwd top speed, 1/4 and shootout winner.
10.7@142 on R888 street tyres, 10.3@134mph on slicks,
9's on slicks to come, with a clean full throttle pass! Goal of 0-150mph in a 1/4 of a mile....

It was only the top speed where the car was unstable - have a close look a the vid and see how much suspension movement there is.... zero! Will be running on sunday with softer suspension and see how its going!

What suspension you running mate?

Century Motorsport Goes into the 9's

Century Motorsport's Nathan Freke has taken the MR2 1/4 mile to sub 10 seconds for the first time outside of the USA with a 9.934 time at Shakespear Raceway today.

Things have moved on Nathan has now done a 9.722 pass which is now the World's best time beating the 9.727 of Tony B. Terminal was 148.
