They certainly have different wheel nuts; PM JeffD, he's done stuff with Rev5 nuts/studs to fit Lexus wheels on.

This some rev3 wheel nuts on a lexu wheel (which I later replaced with shorter rev5 nuts).

Cheers- looking at the nuts I'd guess the rev 5 studs are indeed longer :thumleft:

I'm not sure they are....

The rear nut's are longer as per the picture above. The fronts have short nuts for the different offset wheels. AFAIA the studs are the same throughout..

Right- I'm a bit confused then: I've got a rev 3 that came with rev 5 wheels, but the rear studs dont seem to come through the wheels as far as I'd expect, so you dont really get enough turns on the wheel nuts

Unfortunately I ain't got any rev 3 wheels to compare to, but I had assumed the rev 5 wheels where wider in the middles :-k

What nuts do you have?

Aftermarket tapers OR Toyota washer/shank/taper?

I'll dig a pic up if I can find one. There is a difference...

I see- nice one mate
:thumleft:

Actually got examples of all three of those on my car! The toyota ones seem to have the threads stripped out though, I had assumed it was cos the wheels were thicker and they'd been over tightened...

Thanks for the help- much appreciated

Looks like I've got rev 5 nuts, and some after market jobbies to boot:

I'm not sure but it wouldnt surprise me if the "C" nuts are rev 1/2 or something as I have some of them too - just didnt include them in pic as I assumed they were aftermarket too! LOL

Also got some locking wheel nuts but dont have a wide angle setting on camera LOL
