I got this off the MR2OC board:

"gregulator, i was actually gonna compare the apexi with the phoenix thats why i wanted a pic

I know the core design is the same but what about the area of the ic core on the apexi vs the phoenix?

As apexi ic is no longer produced in japan i need to find a good alternativ and the phoenix power seems to be it if its not smaller."

I've read this more than once. It seems Apexi no longer manufactures the GT spec intercooler for the MR2?

Cant see much on there. Can't be bothered to register either.

I've done too much research to start up on another one. Apexi GT spec and thats it. Now to get the £££'s together before they stop doing that one too!

So what do you reckon then? Apexi (same core as the PP) or Spearco?

The spearco absolutely dwarfs a greddy IC. Maybe I looked at the wrong picture but the one of the PP and the greddy they looked kind of similar sized - or was a looking at the wrong pic?

Pheonix power i/c is slightly bigger than the spearco not buy much though [Smile]

Phoenix Power on't do the intercooler any more [Crying or Very sad]

I guess I'm gonna have to go for the apexi. May consider getting the end tanks made up myself along with a bigger hard pipe kit.

No idea. Still waiting for a reply from MTTE. All I've got so far is a automated message saying they've recieved my enquiry and will contact me shortly.

I'm guesing around £800 - £900. The apexi which is almost the same bar the end tanks being smaller is around £750.

I'll reply here when I find out.
